Prudence Island is unique in it's own right but it is not for everyone.

Over the years it's been our experience that guest and visitors generally fall into two categories; those that fall in love with it, and those that can't wait to get off. The overabundance of peace and tranquility, coupled with a scarcity of "features and attractions" does not appeal to everyone and that's OK. You might like to see about a short stay, sort of like a "test drive" of the island.

Prudence Island Realty manages rental cottages available generally from about mid June to mid October. Some are just a short distance from the shore, a number of them are "beachfront", meaning an unobstructed waterview, and some are actually waterfront.

Prices of course vary according to size, amenities, and location and currently range from $395 to $950 per week. Demand is very high and reservations are made well in advance of the summer.
